ABOUT ME

Moved to EDINBURGH in 2016 to go back to Uni for years and years and years. I love those books. Enjoying rediscovering the city I grew up in and keen to have to occasional surfer to show around this great city. Im often quite busy with studies but i still manage to get out for a ceilidh, some live music, a hike or a pint

PHILOSOPHY

There are these two young fish swimming along, and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says, "Morning, boys, how's the water?" And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes, "What the hell is water?"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering my couch when I can in Edinburgh (previously chamonix!)

Surfing when travelling, after trying it on a recent trip I don't think I will travel any other way in the future.

If I cant host I also really enjoy giving tours of Edinburgh, and I think I've getting pretty good at it after a few years of friends regularly visiting. We have the castle. I wont join for the harry potter tour. It's more cool hole in a wall eating places, shady bars and underground clubs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed - Road trip from London to Copenhagen through northern Europe, a combination of old friends and new friends through couchsurfing! Recent highlights include sleeping in a church in Holland and living with bicycle thieves in Copenhagen!

Another road trip to the south of France meeting more lovely hosts and proving that last minute/no planning is the only way to do things.

Also I travel a lot with work so I have been meeting friendly couchsurfers in various cities around the place who have been kind enough to give me a little local tour of their city.

I like cooking, teach me a new recipe and I will love you for that, and maybe teach you one in return. I like making cocktails too, and that always leads to a fun night.
