ABOUT ME

After many years in university, I'm about to enter the real world, and according to those in the know, work as a lawyer. An earnest, if sometimes nerdy, curiosity keeps me from being bored just as a love of irony, sarcasm, and laughing keeps me sane.

A proud Canadian, I am much more casual than formal; more outgoing than reserved; a bigger fan of extreme cold than extreme heat; and at ease in both English and French. After four months in Paris, one year in Ottawa, I live and work in New York City.

I can show you the hidden gems of Toronto - a city that isn't as obvious as others. When I get my law license in a year or so I might be able to spring you from jail... kidding.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I've traveled quite a bit, but mostly stayed in hostels, I'm new to Couchsurfing. While hostels have become boring, I'm hoping Couchsurfing will allow me to travel while actually learning about local cultures.

Interests

Water polo, politics, modern art, absurdest theater, biking, swimming, reading, surfing the web. Beer combined with any or all of the above.
