ABOUT ME

I'm a journalism student from Brasília, Brazil. I recently came back from Lyon, France, after living there for a year studying cinema as an exchange student. A huge fan of movies, comedy, comics and science fiction books. Love to spend some time reading, writing, watching movies, playing guitar and playing videogames as well.

I usually like to travel without making much planing in advance, so I get to know the place in my own pace. I also try to be pretty open to new experiences when it comes to traveling!

- I do not smoke
- I'm a pretty calm and patient guy

PHILOSOPHY

To me, there are two principles that guide my way of dealing with people and life: kindness above all and respect. I believe with those two, all that's good will follow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Made some trips around Europe and was lucky enough to find hosts in Prague, Vienna and Budapest! Had a great time with each one of them, which only reinforced my good impression about couchsurfing.

- Walking around in new cities to discover them in my own pace

- Music! Love listening to it and playing it (I've been playing the guitar for several years now).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Cotopaxi, a huge volcano near Quito, Ecuador. The feeling that hit me when I was up there, looking at the wonderful surroundings, was really powerful and is something I yet have to experience once again.

Also got to see personally some people whose work I admire, such as Quentin Tarantino, Rush (my favorite band) and Monty Python!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, there are a lot of things that would be cool to learn. Cooking is maybe the first one that comes to mind, I can only cook some really simples dishes, nothing really special.

If there's one thing I could teach, it would the playing the guitar! It's something I studied for several years and is one of the things I enjoy the most. I even gave private lessons for a while back home!
