ABOUT ME
I was born in Netherlands, lived in Copenhagen for a year and now back in the Netherlands. Since I was young I always went camping with my family, enjoying the outdoor life, and (after some years) also loving the hikes. The last few years I've mainly travelled with friends and seen some new parts of the world, but still there is much to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My roommate/landlord in Copenhagen is an active couchsurfer, due to which I met a lot of interesting new people/.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During my time in Copenhagen I have made many international friends, each of them having a different story, different background and culture, and always something interesting new to hear about or to learn from. To me couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people when travelling somewhere, or meeting new people in your home town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participated in an international competition (iGEM) with a 3D printer made from the toy K'NEX and some bacteria in Boston, hearing about and meeting student teams from all over the world, all with different amazing ideas and projects in synthetic biology
