There just so many. One of the books that impressed me a lot as I was a teenager and which I currently reread was "His dark materials" by Philip Pullman. Other books I recently enjoyed were "El libro de la risa y del olvido" by Milan Kundera and "El viajero del siglo" by Andrés Neuman. I can bring you a book if you're interested :).
