Hi!
My name is Max, I am from the UK but grew up in southern Spain. Im currently a university student in Granada University studying economics and the Russian language (seperately lol). I love solo travel and have recently made solo trips to Germany and Bulgaria.

I have a ton of hobbies are interests but right now I suppose my main ones are films, scrapbooking, photography, cubing and language learning :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed before when I went to Germany and Italy and loved the expierence and am eager to do it more and have more authentic local experiences. I understand the struggles of travelling and how expensive it gets. The people you meet and cultural exchange is always my favourite part of the adventure!

Fav books: The remains of the day, 1984, Spring Snow
Fav music: Kendrick Lamar, MF DOOM, Frank Ocean, Radiohead, Deftones, $B, Tyler, the creator. Honestly I could go on forever when it comes to Hip hop, trap, metal, nu metal, shoegaze, electro, dnb, techno and many other genres :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my personal fav achievements was when me and a friend won first place for our short film we created at an international film festival in 2022, it was a just a subcategory but I am still incredibly proud of myself for that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Im a naturally very curious person so I am willing to learn and talk about quite literally any topic on the face of this earth, always very open to anything! When I travel to foreign countries I most often want to learn about the language and the way of the life there. As for teaching, my skills range from russian and spanish, to solving a rubiks cube in 30 seconds, to photography and many other small hobbies, so if I ever have any knowledge of interest to someone I would love to share it !
