To explore North America, my home of five years, before leaving it to start a PhD at Oxford!

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland but I left at 17 to study physics in Toronto, Canada. I recently returned to the UK to start a PhD in aerospace engineering at Oxford University. I've enjoyed three fantastic summers working in Germany, a spurt of working as a programmer at a startup in London while living on my brother's dining room floor, hiking on the Appalachian Trail across New Hampshire, USA, and most recently hitch-hiking through the Canadian Rockies to the beautiful beaches of Tofino, BC where I stayed in a hippy commune.

I want to have adventures and meet interesting people!

Interests

I like climbing, hiking, gliding, exploring cities with friends and the wilderness on my own, and seeing live music. More than anything, though, I like having experiences I've never had before.
