Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I took a trip across the U.S. with a friend and we had great success with making new friends and finding great local spots to visit. I have been a fan ever since.
I also had the pleasure of hanging out at the couchsurfing headquarters in S.F. and I found the folks there to be quite upstanding and giving. I'm a fan of this site.

Interests

I'm a bit of a builder and so anything on architecture or design reels me in. I'm fascinated with tiny houses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Columbia. It felt like I was flying high above a tiny city of alien inhabitants each oblivious to my observations and each with their own priorities and modes of operating in their world.
Pontooning down the length of the Mississippi river in 2008 when it flooded. 80 days on the river- floating from town to town with few human interactions each day. I'll tell you all about it if we meet.

Watching the sunset with my friend and his family. The way the light bounced off the clouds and dipped behind them made it look like the sun set 4 separate times; we were beside ourselves amazement.
