Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went to Europe last Spring and had some of the most profound experiences of my life there. And I was only able to do it because people showed me incredible hospitality through this site.

Now that I am back in the States and have a place with room for travellers I am anxious to return the favor.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music tends to be jazz, electronic, soul; stuff that raises the energy level. Books are anything philosophical, sociological, or historical in subject, or novels with protagonists I can relate to personally. Right now I'm trying to take advantage of the solitude and tackle Gravity's Rainbow. Movies though are my favorite thing. Top five are: The Great Race, There will be Blood, Brick, Holy Motors, and Synacdoche N.Y.

If you have any knowledge to share at all, on any subject, I'm interested in learning about it. I myswlf dont know much, but I do like telling stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself an entertaining conversationalist, and generally game for new experiences. You know, generally fun to be around. However I am certainly willing to help out in any way I can. If you have a project such as a bookshelf or fence to build or some gardening needs doing and want an extra set of hands, I'm your guy. I have also in the past been a professional dishwasher. Just bear that in mind.. ;)
