Overview
About Me
I am a young man trying to strike a balance between finding my place in the world and using every second of my time to explore it. I am open to everybody, always eager to experience new acquaintances and to explore new places. The principal goal of virtually everything I do is self-development and self-improvement, and the core idea is to try to always be in motion - doing something new, visiting new places, experiencing new feelings, etc. Mobility, venturing and, at the same time, working hard, persistently and patiently are things that could describe me best, I think.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I am one of those who believe that helping each other is what keeps the world in motion. I might be in need of being hosted just as any person here might, at some point, so I will be very glad if we could help each other. Another reason is that exploring new places is far more interesting through communicating with people who are similarly obsessed with travelling. And this is the right place to find such people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to virtually everything, except maybe extremely hard music and rap, but otherwise the range is very big, including primarily blues, classical rock, alternative rock and classical music. My favourites are Bryan Adams, Scorpions, The Beatles (along with Paul McCartney as a solo artist), Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Elton John, Sting, Okean Elzy. Chopin, Tchaikovskyi and Mendelssohn are my favourites in classics.
My favourite movies come down to "The Professional" (1982), "Seventeen Moments of Spring", "Shindler's List", "Les Choristes", "White Collar" series, "Inception".
IT is easier to name my faviourite authors than books, because the latter would be too many. So I love reading Theodore Dreiser, Jack London, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Alexander Dumas, Philipp Vandenberg, Ivan Bahrianyi and Max Kidruk. Also, I am thinking about a challenge to read a book or two of every nation in the world during a year or two.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The one amazing thing I recently experienced was sitting on the very edge of the Prekestolen mountain, Norway, half a mile over the Lysefjord (see the photos if you're interested).
Teach, Learn, Share
I am looking forward especially eagerly to practicing languages, exploring cultural pecularities of places I go to and plunging into historical backgrounds.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My free time, my experience, my stories. Also, my language skills, which could help us have intersting practice. Finally, some small Ukrainian trifles I might bring with me as small souvenirs.
