About Me
So, I'm a writer who's traveling so I can meet people and finish revising my two novels. I laugh easy and love to explore local cafe's, art scenes and the parts of cities tourists don't see. The city behind the city is always where I find the jewels.
I'm also the founder of the Literary Roadhouse Podcasts were myself and several co-hosts discuss short stories or literary novels. I love discussing all thing podcasting and youtubing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's been a lifelong dream of mine to travel the world and now that both of my kids are in college, I am ready. After stopping in a handful of US cities, I will start my adventures in Colombia and write fiction as I travel around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have very eclectic tastes in books, TV and movies. My favorite book is White Line by Vanessa Garcia and I love the films Let me in (the Swedish version) and XXY which is a lovely Argentinian and French film that I can't shake. When it comes to music, I used to listen heavily across genre but have been out of the music loop for years. One of the things I'm looking forward to is discovering new music. I listen to classical music when writing, and can never sit still when any African or Latin beats are playing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to New York with 60 bucks in my pocket and stayed for a year. The weirdest place I stayed in NY was a huge warehouse split into chicken wire cubicals. I just cannot fully express how weird that entire situation was.
