I was born in Sydney, Australia! I am currently on a break from Uni, where I study business. I love travel, especially as I come from a multicultural background (I have family from Turkey, Portugal, Germany and England). I find that nothing can teach a person more than truly experiencing and being immersed in all aspects of a culture, so I would love to have the opportunity to do so!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard an amazing story from my cousin who Couchsurfed in the 2000s, she said she met her lifelong best friend who was one of her hosts in Madrid! She inspired me to join, and I think such an experience is so valuable and would give me amazing insight into how locals live their lives. Also, I'm a broke uni student

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an Exchange semester (Erasmus) at the end of last year, in Madrid. It was such an unforgettable experience, as well as my first time living alone AND abroad. Of course, there was a lot of adjusting to do, but I learnt so much about myself and the world around me. It truly changed my perspective for the better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I take a great interest in the Arts - I love visual art (paintings, expressionism), but my favourite is Acting! I've taken drama classes and assisted many of my friends who are filmmakers - I especially like to learn different accents to elevate role authenticity. I would love to share this passion with you and explore the intricacies of film art.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have always had a deep curiosity about the world, and how the past intertwines with the present to create a mass of different future possibilities and pathways. I would love to have long, elaborate discussions about all of our mutual interests and build upon our mutual knowledge of one another's past and cultural influences in life. I also believe in reciprocation, and that it is only fair to bring value to both sides, so I hope to treat any prospective hosts to a nice drink :)
