About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been fortunate enough to have traveled rather extensively.
Having been to over 20 countries, I feel like this is the best education a person can give themselves - being exposed to different cultures, mentalities, hardships, beauty.
This world is so gorgeous - the more I see, the more I want to see.
And I am more than happy to enable others on their own journey!
Music, Movies, and Books
Not fond of superlatives + tastes and influences constantly change
But here are a few that touched my heart (funny-bone) deeply:
Music - Miriam Makeba, Mercedes Sossa, Bach, Shostakovitch, Bartok, Bjork, Radiohead, Skunk Anansie, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Hanne Hukkleberg, Kimbra, Laura Mvula, Sia, Hiatus Kiote, Esperanza Spalding, Billy Holiday, Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Elling, Duke Ellington, Freddie Hubbard, iEvyatar Banai, Sasha Argov ---> and more and more ~ ~ ~
Books - Currently reading "Uncredibly close and extremely loud". It's heart breaking and heart expanding
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've touched a hippo's tongue and a dolphin's back.
Not on the same day. Both amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
More than happy to sing / teach music / teach breathing techniques / practice English or Hebrew with you / cook you a meal as thanks for your hospitality
More than happy to learn pretty much anything - I'm a curious creature! :)
(especially keen on learning Spanish, permaculture, anything musical...)
