Hi my name is Maya, i just returned from a trip through the Caribbean.
I have been working on Grand Cayman Island for 7 months.

I like to stay at 1 place for a longer period of time to really get to know the lokal people, food, music and nature. I love to try out allt the new things that are waiting for me at that place. But I also dont stay to long because I am still in a nomadic mood.

I don't eat meat. Or fish. I haven't for alomst 6 yeas. I choose so to live healty and to keep a clean conscience. I try to travel with respect to the environment. I try to avoid big chains but instead support local business. Even though I worked in tourism myself I despie it. The kind for tourism made for the mass.
I love to talk about and question these topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wan´t to meet new people and see how they live.

I jump into the every-day-live of someone and find new friends. And it´s as easy as Couchsurfing. I should have done it years ago. But here I am, hoping for many people to host me. I am up for adventures of any kind. I love natura and the chaos of big cities. But in my heart I am from the country and will choose to live in a small town surrounded by nature over every city. :)
I don´t smoke. I cook very well, especially if it's for someone else.

Interests

I like to read, go swimming and runing. I want to improve my Spanish skills. I love to cook and to have someone cook for me.
People with good energy, how want to thrive and learn more about themselfes. They interest me. And if you have something to teach me that I didnt know befor I am eager to learn. I love it when people can change my mind about something that I was thinking negatively about

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in 4 countrys at age 21, I made friends all over the world and Love to meet up again.
I speak German English and Spanish (almost).
I try to always question everything.
