I’m a sociable wanderer and curious explorer, but also a philosophical deep thinker. I'm a strange hybrid of a bohemian hippie and a goth. I love sunshine, summer, and colors, but I'm also drawn to the mystique of the night, old castles, and dark aesthetics. I love walking through cities, discovering new places, and hiking whenever I get the chance.

I actually used to host on Couchsurfing many years ago in Helsinki, and I loved it. Sadly, life got in the way, but I’ve recently found my way back, and I’m excited to reconnect with the community again.

I’m easygoing, flexible, and low-maintenance. I’ve done plenty of backpacking, so I’m comfortable in all kinds of environments and accommodations.

It's the perfect way to get to know the culture and life of your destination from the point of view of the locals, and not just from the tourist brochures. You find hidden gems, and hear the stories and real happenings in the country in an honest way - in both good and bad.

Love love LOVE Tolkien's work and the movies that followed. I'm curious about cultures and history - the older the better :D Movies, music, books (currently addicted to audio books), dancing, and nature are close my heart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Easygoing company, good conversations, and stories from travels and life in general. I can introduce you to some Finnish delights (I will absolutely make you try salmiakki 😄), and while my cooking skills are mediocre, I’m always happy to cook and help out however I can. I enjoy spending time together, but I’m also very respectful of personal space and alone time.
