In my opinion using Couchsurfing is the best way to travel and get to meet people with the same idea of enjoying life. It connects you with other wonderful individuals and gives you the chance of an amazing way to explore the world and experience different cultures. I'd rather stay on a locals inflatable mattress than alone in an overpriced hotel complex.
