Being is becoming ... finding a balance between motion and stability

ABOUT ME

I love learning languages for meeting and talking with people all around the globe. My studies at Dresden as a teacher for German as a foreign language took me to France, Russia and Belarus so far and I'm looking forward to the next places to go to teach and learn.

PHILOSOPHY

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a life time friend on a free walking tour in Istanbul (Thanks, Necmettin!) that turned to be from Belarus as well. So we met there after summer had long gone.

I also learned what it means to go to Turkey as "Maria from Minsk" and found a nice shared appartment with a very relaxed flatmate through CS.

Back home I just started hosting people and that's just fabulous!

Interests

cooking, laughing, dancing, reading, joyful music, languages, new people, going to bed a bit wiser every night
