Hello everyone !

My name is Maya, I am from France (but I was born in Syria) and I am actually not working in Luxembourg 😅

I grew in a family of travellers and I learned how to travel with respect, laugh and happiness ! I always say that I am not a tourist but a traveler, which means that I am not couchsurfing to avoid to pay for a hostel. Not at all. I am couchsurfing because I think discovering the people and their way of living is absolutely necessary to discover a country. I want to discover a country from the inside, with the people in it. That is also why I am used to travel alone, because it is the best way to meet locals !

So I will also host people that are eager to meet the country AND the people, not people that only look for a couch.

I am fun, simple, easy-going, always smiling, eager to discover the world and loving to meet new people, especially people with those same skills :).

I would love to hear travelling stories, they are my favorites.

By the way, I have a little dog named Malo, she is an angel :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think I said it already :)

I am on couchsurfing to meet people, to share experiences, stories, some jokes, but also to have deep discussion, especially in politics, culture, psychology and travels !
