Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Mayank 🙂
I’m an Erasmus student studying Energy Engineering, living in Italy for the past 6 months. In that time, I’ve been road-tripping around with friends, exploring small towns, big cities, and everything in between. Same story across Europe: I’ve made spontaneous trips to Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and a few other spots—just chasing good vibes, cool people, and new experiences.
I’m also really into photography, which kind of goes hand-in-hand with my love for travel. For me, it's not just about visiting places, but also meeting locals, learning bits of the language, hearing stories, and in my opinion the best way to make life long friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see Couchsurfing as a way to make that connection more real. I’m super chill, respectful, clean, and always up for sharing a meal, taking a walk around town, or just chatting about anything from music to science to whatever’s on your mind.
If you’ve got a couch (or floor, or hammock—I’m not picky 😄) and feel like hosting a curious traveler with a camera, I’d be really grateful. Hope to meet you soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
some good old music—Bon Jovi, The Beatles, Sam cooke, Otis reeding, Eagles ofcourse, John Denver, a bit of country and blues—basically anything with heart and soul
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few months ago, three friend and I did a spontaneous road trip across southern France for our spring break with nothing but a rough route, snacks, and a camera. We camped in the middle of nowhere, got lost a few times (which turned out to be the best part), and ended up making friends with some locals at a tiny village called Eze. It was unplanned, a little chaotic, but honestly one of the most memorable and human experiences I’ve had.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, great conversation, and maybe even a few decent photos if you're up for a mini photo shoot! 😄
I love to cook, and I’m always happy to share a homemade meal or swap recipes. we can also share stories from our travels and my home country, or just hang out and listen to music (bonus points if you like old rock or blues).
I’m always respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people—whether it's over a coffee, a walk around town, or a quiet evening in.
