I was brought up in east part of India and have been living away from home for more than a decade now. Currently, I am living in Singapore and work as a Product Manager for a tech giant.

I grew up in a joint family with 26 siblings. We had a cricket team of our own. The stage has been my happy place since college. As a theatre actor, I am a grumpy old man one day and cross-dressed lady Macbeth, the other. Getting into someone else's shoes and seeing the world from someone else's lens has made me more adaptive and value others' opinions. I dream a lot in my sleep and keep a dream journal and I cannot wait to share some of those dreams with you.

I'm also very enthusiastic about history, art and philosophy, and I become very excited when I find people with whom I can debate over these!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer couchsurfing when I am traveling alone especially to a new city. I believe the best way to experience a new city / town is through the local's eyes. There are so many things to learn and so many sensations to experience, and life is only so long. And I think it's also a wonderful way to find ideas to write about!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any favorite list, so listing down few books that I really enjoyed reading - The Kite Runner, Animal Farm, Deep Work and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I am currently reading Black Swan and Americanah.

I love countryside music. Dylan, Eddie Vedder, Beatles and A.R. Rahman are all time favorites. I have developed a new profound love for Jazz and wish to learn Saxophone.

The Movie list is quite big. Into the Wild, Dark Knight and The man from Earth can give you a hint of the genre that I like watching.
