About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life and live each day fully!
ABOUT ME
We live in two rooms in a biiig appartement in the middle of the city. Our living room is also the passage to the only bath in the appartment (there are 5 people living here). We have divided the room with a big curtain in rainbow colours (in the making at the moment) so we have privacy on the other side of the curtain.
Johan's a musician and plays the saxophone, clarinet, flute, caval, guitar and many others things, loves to jam and learn new music and languages.
Maya's a caretaker for children and loves to sing and talk to people with an open heart and mind.
We're very honest and open-minded people and you shouldn't be surprised if you visit us and we declare we had a busy day and just need to watch a movie, and ask if you'll watch it with us on our couch - or if it's one of those days we go see a concert someone we know is playing, or Maya is off to watch Johan play somewhere in the city and we drag you along :-D
We try to only host cs'ers on days we have something good to offer, but sometimes we think it's ok to have a little low energy and it's never to really foresee. The most important thing is that people don't have to be fake and pretend. Please be yourself around us, we try to!!
We like organic food but we're not fanatic. We try to do the right things when we're able to do that.
PHILOSOPHY
"We make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong, the required effort is the same" - Carlos Castaneda
"If you think you're to small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosqito." - Dalai Lama
"You cannot do great things in this life. But you can do small things with great love." - Mother Teresa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(Maya)
I have seen the giant Iguazu falls in Argentina/Brazil and been very close to the falls with a boat...
I have walked 240km summer 2007 in Spain on the Camino, meeting wonderful people and learning to deal with pain because I had an injury in my leg. With evrything I had with me weighing 5 kilo, I managed to travel around for a month, such a great feeling:-)
got me my lovely cat named Frida, she's so beautiful and though living with my parents at the moment, she still loves me, lucky me!!:-)
I've already known so many people and feel blessed to have been part of their lives.
I was three weeks at Ängsbacka in Sweden one summer ago. It was amazing!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sometimes you get farther by walking slowly... I (Maya) learned that on my own body that summer in Spain:-)
You can't help someone with anything, unless they want your help -no matter how much you think they need and could benefit from your help, you can't help unless they want you to!:-) But if someone asks for your help, even in the most insignificant way, you are really able to do good things.
