About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing the world :)
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Miami and have lived there most of my life. I was in Mexico City for three months and I loved it. I was planning to stay there for longer but now I want to keep traveling. I'll be in Europe starting in July [Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and who knows where else :) ]
And while I'm doing all this, I'm constantly posting pictures and thoughts about my travels on Facebook and Instagram to share with friends and family, but I'm also hoping to gain a following so I can continue to explore and share my adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed about 7 or 8 times in the U.S. a few years ago and I loved it :) People are awesome :)
Interests
Language learning
I've been studying languages my whole life in school (mostly French) but, living in Mexico, I finally got to really practice Spanish. I have a basic familiarity with several languages and I always want to learn more.
Makeup
I love makeup. I went to makeup school a few years ago and learned a lot. Now I sometimes (a lot these days) practice new looks and take pictures and post them on Facebook and Instagram. I'm still learning and can't wait to see what I can do in the future :)
Acting/Dance/Modeling
Perhaps my best talent is acting. I love it but I've sort of put it to the side for now. I'm having fun exploring the world and hopefully Hollywood will wait for me :) I love dance and forms of movement (ballet, yoga, capoeira, etc.) but I'm also putting that to the side for now.
Spirituality
A couple of years ago, spirituality was very important to me, but at this point I am sort of just taking what I've learned and applying it (live passionately, worry less to put it simply). I sometimes read writings and listen to recordings now, but not a whole lot. My favorite teachers are Byron Katie, Gangaji, Adyashanti, Neelam, and Bentinho Massaro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to Mexico with not much of a plan and it worked out wonderfully. I found a home there, with the people, with the city :) (But I want to keep moving!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking!
I'm a great amateur chef and I love to cook for other people :) I would love to learn local or family recipes from my hosts or I can make some of my favorite things for you :)
The Work of Byron Katie- a "spiritual technique" to find clarity in stressful/painful situations. This has brought me a lot of joy and I love sharing it!
English! I'm always happy to talk about language, answer questions, and practice with anyone who wants to learn. I'm a native English speaker, but I'm also passionate about language, so give me your hardest questions :)
Math. I have tutored many children and adults in math and I really love and enjoy it! If you're taking a class or would just love to see some cool tricks that can blow your mind, let's talk! :)
Arts & Culture - I am passionate about intellectual and artistic topics and I love talking about it and sharing what I know. And I'm sure you have a lot to teach me too :)
