After visiting classrooms in Japan, China, the United States and the Navajo Nation during my undergraduate career, I found the disparity in educational settings inexcusable. I am passionate about closing the achievement gap that separates low-income, under served students from their peers.

I enjoy going on adventures, meeting new people, listening to podcasts and refurbishing old furniture that I find on the side of the road. I am also an animal lover and slightly obsessed with goats and wiener dogs. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My old roommate and I hosted many couch surfers. She recently moved out and I wanted to open up our house again. We always had a lovely time meeting people from all over the world and showing them around Austin.
