I'm Mayke Moraes, a Brazilian guy in love with life, who doesn't carry burdens, guilt, or excess baggage. I'm a backpacker by choice and my premise in life is to experience it completely, until I run out of possibilities. Travel makes me find myself and when I find myself, I embrace the whole world, and I feel part of something bigger, understanding each culture, each style, and becoming able to be a real human being, without borders, time zones or cultural limitations. I'm a guy of the world. That really plays into it, without fear of exploring all the most fascinating corners of the planet. Come with me, I have a lot of good stories to share.

I have already visited and explored 74 countries and in April 2018, together with my fiancee, we started our biggest adventure, a trip around the world and since then we have not returned to Brazil. During this period we explored South America, Central America, North America and Eastern Europe.

Both my fiancé and I already received two doses of the covid-19 vaccine (Moderna) four months ago when we were in Alaska (United States).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I really used Couch-Surfing was in 2014 during a 14 months backpacking trip I was doing around the globe. It was such a good experience that since then I can’t travel in different way. At the begin my intention was just to save money while on the road, but then I realized that CS is much more than that, it is a way of experience new culture, make new friends and sometimes see the city by the eyes of local people. It is good energy share. I also love to share my culture and travel experiences with my hosts and friends I have made Csurfing, and all this things make the CS experience the best way possible of putting two things together, great people and awesome destinations. 😊 CS I love you! ❤️
