About Me
21 years old guy, living in Fortaleza, capital of Ceará, Brazil. I love music, photography, beer, a nice talk and meet new people.
Nothing unusual, I guess
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I really want to have the sort of experience that Couchsurfing offers. I mean, going to someone's house, without knowing the people who lives there, and have a good time with those people sounds amazing. Or accept people from all around the world who are travelling too, and discover more about them and their culture and ways of life. Every part of this makes me excited.
I friend of mine started doing it and, when he told me about all his experiences I was just fascineted.
I believe that there are no best guides and there's no better way to know about a city or a country than speaking with locals. And I always seek for chating with locals, wherever I go. Their view of the city, the things that make then smile or that make then sad... all of those things that you can't see or understand, except by talking with people who live in that place you're visiting. People who live that history that you are learning about. That's why I want to travel.
Buildings are nice, but, usually, the most memorable things about my trips are about an old man who told me about a bridge where he used to go with his girlfriend to see the river or about a random guy that I met in a pub who told me how was his life during comunism in his country. Those are the things that last longer. Those are the reasons I want to do couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love Oasis, The Head and The Heart, Noah and The Whale, Iron and Wine and other indie bands. But also really like MPB, some classic from Bach and Vivaldi for example and alternative bands like Sigur Rós. I really like a little bit of everything.
I also play Ukulele, Transversal flute and Melodica. I also play another types of flutes like a native american flute or a Irish flute. But I'm not really good in none of those. Just learned a bit of everything so I can play with friends or to relax myself
2001 an space Odissey, Where the Wild Things Are, Her, Django,One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest... I really like movies and if I get to excited I would love engaging in a long discussion about a lot of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've play my ukulele for a lot of strangers in a little pub in Scotland. I was lost in Edinburgh with a heavy luggage and this guy told me to play a song to him for a beer. In the end, I was playing inside the pub, and they paid me some beers as reward. We all get drunk and some guys playing bagpipes just appear from nowhere and everyone start to dancing and sing. Later, I've found myself in a map and leave the pub (with tears in my eyes)
I guess the name of the guy was Ricky
Teach, Learn, Share
I know the basics of Ukulele Pianica and Transversal Flute. I also know a lot about Brazil and our culture haha. I love music and can talk about this for a long time, too.
And would love to learn about these thing from other people too. Specially about health and medicine and the differences in this concept between the countries. But also about the food and music, and the language, and history and, most important for me, how was to live that history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences in my recent travels and a little thing about music, about funny medical things, about movies and a lot about braziliam culture and food and drinks. And a good mood and energy, I guess :)
