Hi there !

I'm Maylis, 28 yo. I love to travel, discover new people, new city, new landscape. Pretty usual for someone using couchsurfing I guess but I truly do :)

I was born and raised in Belgium. But soon Belgium was too small so I discovered the world a little bit.
I spent a year in Montreal in 2016-2017. Marvelous experience ! I traveled quite a lot by myself for 3 years (more or less). But now, it's the scary time when I would like to settle down a little bit. Or I would like to try at least O:)

Otherwise, I like to take photo in my spare time. I could listen to music for hours. I love when there are squirrels in a park.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

First I thought the concept was interesting and fun and a good way to discover a new city and new people from different cultures.
Then I tried and I fell in love with couchsurfing ! People that agreed to host me were amazing and we had such a great time that I want to do it again and again.

I hope I’ll be able to host back when I’ll have my own “home”. It will be really a pleasure to welcome travelers and meeting the world in my own apartment :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Quitting my job, leaving my stability to travel around Europe for several month and doing it again to go to Canada for a year.
Climb Fujisan this summer.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach photography, French, basics to create a website, how to serve a beer (of course, I’m Belgian).

I could learn to bake, to speak your language, to understand our cultural differences, anything ! Learning new things is always good!
