About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience everything.

ABOUT ME

Hola!My name's Philippa. I'm a 21 yr old student (Spanish/Ancient History and Archaeology) here in Dublin. I've just come back form nine months or so living in Granada, Spain.

I can't offer a couch right now, my flatmates already consider me a crazy hippy, if I suggested letting a stranger sleep on the couch they'll think I've lost it completley. However if you ever want a free tour-guide/to go for a drink or whatever in Dublin don't hesitate to contact. :)

I'm super laid-back, up for a laugh and would love to meet some people from all over the world. Maybe if you enjoy being shown around by me you could take me around your town when I finally get round to travelling properly. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time doing this so none really. I have met a few couch-surfers in the past all of whom seemed pretty cool people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I can't think of a particular genre or anything so I'm just going to list some random films I love; Up, Fight Club, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Cherrybomb, The Lion King, Notting Hill, Rushmore, 500 Days of Summer. Unless it's terrifying/pointlessly gory I'll watch it.

Music: Right now I quite like a lot of indie pop like Los Campesinos! or Two Door Cinema Club, or indie-folky-poppy stuff like Slow Club, Stornoway, Johnny Flynn, Fionn Regan, Hola a todo el mundo etc.
I've recently started listening to some Rumba which always seems to be so happy, I love it!

Books: meh, I haven't read properly since I started college, it makes reading seems like a chore. The world would be a colder place if it wasn't for the Chronicles of Narnia though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 I saw my little cousin take her first steps, I still think that was pretty amazing. I also still find being around really old stuff really amazing; like touching a Roman coin and knowing that somebody who's been dead for about a thousand years has also touched it, how is that not amazing?

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
