Gap year student from Vancouver, Canada working in Singapore for a year at UBS AG through AIESEC. Planning to explore what South East Asia has to offer. Also a life-long AIESECer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Attend CouchSurfing events to meet other CouchSurfers. Promote CouchSurfing as a way to meet people, exchange cultural differences and gain a new perspective.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in Singapore in August 2013. I attended the Singapore National Day Picnic gathering organized by Devane where got to know the CouchSurfing community.
My first surfing experience was in Penang, Malaysia in December 2013. Drax Loong is an awesome host who made my first experience memorable.
I have yet to have my first hosting experience, but hopefully that can be arranged in 2014!

- Road trip in 9 provinces (in Canada) and countless states (in the US)
- Road trip with Czech, German, and American AIESEC CEEDers / friends in New Zealand
- Blackwater Rafting at Waitomo Caves, New Zealand
- Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, Cambodia
- Looking out at Taipei 101 (the best free view) from Elephant Mountain, Taiwan
- Walking right into Mexico from the boarder without anyone checking my passport
