Hi, I am Mayssa :) I am a Tunisian living in the United States. I am trying to make the best of my time here traveling around, meeting new people and living this experience to the fullest. My first trip was when I was 18 and I went to Portugal. My second one was to Turkey at the age of 19 and by the age of 20, I moved to Arizona as an exchange student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best option to live the experience to the fullest. Unlike hotels, Couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to meet new people, learn from them, learn to respect their rules, share your stories with them, hear their stories and maybe go on adventures together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t have a preferred kind of music, I just listen to whatever pleases my ears.

Some of my favorite movies are Boyhood, Mother, Gone Girl and Into the Wild.

I read a lot of books. Mostly mystery and thriller books. I also enjoy a Young/Adult book from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that the most amazing thing I did was getting out of my comfort zone and traveling. Even if I couldn’t afford traveling abroad, I would just travel in my country and try to explore most of its places and hidden secrets. There is always something beautiful to see even in the closest places to you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being a foreigner, I can share with my hosts stories about my trips, my country, my culture etc. I can also teach them some Arabic or French.
