I usually travel alone however I do not stay with hosts, I usually arrange my own private accommodation. I like to use CS to meet locals and new friends in the countries that I travel to.

I find that I can easily make friends and am very sociable.

I like animals and wildlife, love everything except for bugs and spiders lol.

I like to learn about different cultures around the world and my ultimate end goal is to visit as many countries I can when I have a chance. A believer in the law of attraction and karma.

When I am in my home town I spend a lot of my time working as I manage a family transport company. I do take a lot of time away and try to travel at least 3 or 4 times a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share experiences, and to connect with like minded people all around the world. I have met some amazing people through couchsurfing and we remain good friends!

Interests

I am into cars, travel and life in general. I spent 6 months travelling through East Africa and had the time of my life, meeting many new friends who I am still in contact with.

I try to travel 3/4 times each year, usually solo but I love the experience.

I am very interested in learning about other peoples cultures, traditions, and languages. Its so intriguing to meet people from different parts of the world and from different walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into all kinds of different music, from dance, rnb, reggae, to international music.

One of my favourite movies is 7 Pounds, I found it to be very intense. Another is Pursuit of Happyness, which depicts a story that no matter what you want in life, nothing is impossible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise over the mountains in Pokhara, Nepal, and coming face to face with a herd of buffalos on an African safari, nothing can describe the rush!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to change the oil in your car, or service it, or even change the brakes.

Swap language skills as I fluently speak 6 different languages.

I would love to learn a new language or phrases.

I can share my travel experiences and stories about the things I have been through in life, I could share some pictures with you that I cherish very dearly ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually do not ask to be hosted as I prefer to arrange my own accommodation, but as mentioned before there is a whole new level of experience to be had when sharing travels with locals, and that's why I love this diverse community :)
