Hello, hello! I'm a professional soccer player currently living and playing in Italy. I am originally from California, but have also lived and played in England and Switzerland. I love filling my spare time learning about and experiencing other countries and cultures. I'm a big sports and outdoors person. I'm happiest when surrounded by mountains and trees or when I'm eating. I love to cook and bake, and dabble with photography.

I first got onto to couch surfing because it seemed like a great opportunity to both save money and gain an authentic experience of the daily life and culture of the places I visit. The more time I spend on the site, the more I realize it is so much more! I love the community aspect I have found in the groups and am constantly surprised by people on here who are willing to help fellow travelers out. It's an amazing thing to be a part of!

Musica, film e libri

I enjoy almost all types of music, but definitely have a soft spot for Motown and classic rock.

As with music, I enjoy most movies and really enjoy going to the cinema. While I do enjoy a good monster movie, most horror films with serial killers or paranormal stuff is not for me.

I love BOOKS! It's hard when traveling to bring these guys along with you but I always get excited when I find a title in a second hand book shop abroad that I've been searching for. Or when I find English books in non-english speaking countries. I like novels, fantasy, sci-fi, fiction, self help, classics, and certain autobiographies.

One of the most amazing things I've done is to leave America and move to England to get my masters, play football (soccer), and travel. It has enriched my life in more ways that I could have ever imagined and kick started my love of travel and living abroad.
