About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find what scares me most and go live there

ABOUT ME

What wouldn't they say? I definitely have a very fun personality and am open to trying most things at least once. I'm pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I love to go out for drinks and go dancing and at the same time love relaxing somewhere, preferably a place with a hammock. I do love hammocks a whole lot.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life you love... cheesy but it's something

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point in my life, I'm all about experiencing everything and anything. I don't plan, I like to let things fall into place. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

Interests

My newest goal is to do the things I am most afraid of. I recently stared down a spider for a while, deciding if I should find someone to kill it for me or just let it be. I am proud to say that I let Maurice (I decided to name him to make him less scary) live and even helped him back outside. I was living in South Korea for a year as an English teacher, which was certainly an experience and have most recently been working on my mosquito killing techniques in Southeast Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books

My three loves in life are Harry Potter (books, not movies), Star Wars (original trilogy, and Han totally shot first), and South Park (I taught my students in South Korea that Manbearpig was a real animal and made them draw pictures of what they thought it looked like. Best. Lesson. Ever.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently became a certified SCUBA diver and the first time I was able to breathe underwater was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I fully understand that diving is a completely unnatural thing, but somehow it felt incredibly natural to me. I also got to have a light saber battle underwater during a night dive with my torch, which was truly one of the coolest things of my life.
