About Me
CURRENT MISSION
La vita è adesso
ABOUT ME
Life is short and I don't have time to spend it on collecting and managing material things, therefore a bohemian home (with a bohemian owner living in it :-)).
About me: Flexible, energetic, annoyingly optimistic, restless, loyal, responsible, limitless, logical problem-solver, independent with quite a drastic humour. I strive for, and appreciate in others, a non-judgemental mind, compassion, generosity, self distance. I prefer humour, creativity and action before intellectual and cultural discussions (well... I do that to, but most often together with alcohol in a bar).
PHILOSOPHY
YES as default.
Do whatever you please, as long as you are not causing suffering to anyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I host more than I am being hosted (practical reasons).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I host and I get hosted.
I have also done many home exchanges (e.g. www.homelink.dk, www.intervac.com) - which is also a very nice way to travel!
Interests
Buddhism, all kinds of change and challenges to limitations/fears, laughing, exciting meetings, challenging projects, cayaking, trekking, music, socializing, dancing, reading, projects of all kinds, observing people, being on the sea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'm not that much of a movie fan. When I watch a movie I try to find something that teaches me something or makes me cry.
Music: A lot and different. Trying to find some quality music in every genre. Quite a lot industrial metal, folk music from different countries and cocktail jazz.
Books: Dharma books and Italian grammar books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Holding hands with a dying old man watching the pain leave him when passing over. An occasion with intensively green colour in the Greek landscape. Giving birth to two sons. Some moments/meetings in my life with extreme, overwhelming energies. Leaving everything I owned and knew for moving to a country where I didn't know anyone, the language, didn't have a job, income etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to learn about (almost) everything. Especially I would like to learn how to play samba drums and taichi. Teaching... Bah, I do not know. How to open a bottle of beer with your teeth? Sicilian culture from an outsiders perspective? How to play the accordion?
