PHILOSOPHY

Can you leave your heart in more than one place? So then how many places can you reasonably call home?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am someone who gets excited about the lame or mundane details, so when I travel I never find myself bored. I think this takes a lot off the host because it means I dont need a babysitter/ a host that's always there or even constant lists of things to do and see. I"m content with taking in the sites and sounds and not being a hassel or an inconvenience to the generous couchsurfing host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been lucky to know great people all over the world that have let me crash at their appartments, their houses with their families, etc. and I have learned so much about the world because of this-- most times more than any travel book could tell me.
I am now looking to get that experience from the places where I do not know anyone-- and that seems pretty exciting.

Interests

I love to talk about:
Music-- especially jazz and folk
Literature from all over the world, if i can in its original language
International relations/foreign affairs-- that's not politics, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen The Holy Grail. Apparently it's in Valencia, Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I probably can't write your doctoral review of Shakespeare, but I will be happy to take a look! Same goes for cooking southern food, Capoeira or a foreign language. I'll be happy to show you a thing or two though!
