I’m brand new to couch surfing!
I’m an energetic person with an adventurous spirit and inquisitive nature. I’m also an introspective deep thinker.. I’m outgoing and enjoy getting to know new people. I was a middle & high school English teacher for a few years until this summer. I’m passionate about my role as an educator. Going forward, my goal is to build a new campground west of Austin that has camp programs for children and young adults.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My home base is Austin, TX. I’m currently in a transition from a career teaching middle & high school English to pursuing sustainable horticulture & landscaping (permaculture). I'm traveling and working temporary positions for a several months in the interim. I'll be visiting with family & working in DFW until Nov/Dec. I’m currently staying with my dad in Irving. I’d like to start couch surfing in Dallas in September until I leave DFW later in the fall. At that point I'll visit family in other states, and do permaculture internships abroad, before returning to Austin in early 2026.

Founded La Reunion Cooperative, the largest public housing co-op in Austin.

Teach: dance moves, gardening knowledge, cooking knowledge

Learn: Spanish, guitar playing skills
