ABOUT ME

First, I'm terrible at filling these things out.
I'm down to earth (isn't everyone?) and like to think I'm easy to get along with. I'm not shy and like meeting new people in any situation. I have an open mind and see the world from a different perspective every day depending on what I see/read/hear/etc. that day. I'm facinated by diversity and want to visit everywhere to get first hand understanding of different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I learned early on that stress is not worth it and I live life with no regrets and don't complain about things I can't change.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Poorly ... by that I mean I just joined and my house is under construction (by me), so anyone wanting to surf at my house is looking for an adventure. I hope to meet other local CSers and get a good understanding of this so I can contribute because I think it's an amazing project and shows how great people can do great things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about this through consumerist.com and after browsing the site and reading about it and the kind of people participating, I felt like it was something I wanted to be involved in ... and that's where my experience ends. I'll have to update this over time.

兴趣

I have an addictive personality and ADD so I can become interested in anything that's in front of me long enough, but will move on to something else once a new shiney object is waved in front of me.

Basically, I have a lot of interests but few passions (sad for me). I always like movies and music but am starting to read more and would like to get more into local and live music. I play volleyball as much as I can but like doing anything active, even if I'm not the most active person. Other than those incredibly unique things, I'll most likely be interested in everything.

As I said, I'll be interested in anything put in front of me. You'll find me watching foreign art house films right after seeing the most recent Saw movie. I can find comfort in almost all types of music and I'll read what's in front of me.

Watching the total solar eclipse during a bike tour of Munich with my Dad in 1999 (one of the best places in the world to view it)

I know a little about a lot of things and a lot about very few things. I would like to learn anything someone is willing to share. I will do my best to share whatever I have to offer and hopefully that will help someone somewhere down the road.
