Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a contemporary dance artist currently residing in Brooklyn. I'm a dancer, choreographer, and teacher and often collaborate with interdisciplinary artists on various community projects. My journey has been one of giving through art and however best I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I learn how to better be an inhabitant on this earth, my travel experiences have taught me some of the most profound lessons of my life. Couchsurfing was always a concept that I felt drawn to, and has been the only way I could feasibly venture. This network allows so many to be able to travel within their means while also breaking down the idea of "tourism." It's truly a breath of fresh air. Couchsurfing has allowed me to pursue professional dance training opportunities abroad and around the country, that I wouldn't be able to do with my income. For that and the people I've met, I am so incredibly grateful.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A few years ago, I spent the better part of 2 years backpacking and traveling, couchsurfing made that possible for me. It's been a while, but I'm now in a position where I can host from time to time!
Unfortunately the housing situation I am in currently, I can very rarely host. But please send me a message and if at all possible, I'll let you know if I can host/help you out, or help connect you with others to find a place to stay!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I can't imagine a better way to travel!
I've been struck with the immense kindness, trust, welcoming nature of the people I've encountered in this global community! CS attracts people who are so open, excited to share, and are some of the most generous humans I've ever come across. I'm so thankful to be a part of it and to give back in my own ways.
Interests
My goal is to be open and honest with myself and others. I enjoy spending my time around great people, enjoying the outdoors, reading, laughing, sharing, playing games (I love me a good board game), playing and listening to great music (I dabble on the mandolin), hiking and camping (and take every opportunity to do so). I am also interested in lifestyles that are organic and try to live with the least amount of negative impact possible. Working on being more mindful, present, and compassionate... a life-long journey.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach and share: dance, collaboration, English, knitting, pilates exercises or yoga stretches, energy work. I have had plenty of conversations that end up with sharing a helpful exercise :)
Learn: I am extremely interested in learning about cultures, history, languages, philosophy, and ways of life different from my own. Basically, if you're passionate about something, I am interested to learn about it!
