I used to believe in having a career. Now I believe in having a series of adventures. It's better to put your energy into creating something big, rather than making something small and expending your energy trying to give it meaning. Let the work speak for itself.

Or to put it more succinctly, "Do epic shit".

Filmmaking is more than an interest - it's a lifestyle. I love watching, making, and studying films. My new movie's coming along well, so hopefully it'll lead to more filmmaking adventures.

To stay healthy I do "boxing fitness", which is basically boxing training without actually getting punched in the face.

Canoeing in Fiji. Glacier climbing in New Zealand. Playing beach football in Brazil. Eating a ridiculously tasty hamburger in New York City. Eating baguette et fromage on a park bench in Paris. I can teach you how to improvise jazz and/or blues on the guitar, as I've been playing for 30 years.
