About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The time to start living was yesterday...

ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing and like to travel, visit new places, meet people, and learn about their life and upbringing.

I relocated to Lisbon, Portugal 2 years ago, which has provided a lot of travel opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to always be open to learning something new. Whether its how people around the world live their lives, history, architecture, or anything else, I love talking to people and learning about their experiences. That is how I discovered CS... I started talking to someone at Jake's in Del Mar, California... she was from Italy and visiting the US thanks to CS.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined CS on 8/6/2011 after meeting a visitor from Italy that told me all about CS. It sounded like a great idea, and so I joined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS has been an incredibly positive experience for me, as I have hosted several visitors from Europe, Eastern Europe, India, Asia, Australia, and other parts of the US. They have all been so kind and interesting to meet, and always so appreciative. I have met many new friends on this site.

Interests

I am very outgoing and like to travel. I am also very athletic and enjoy all types of sports... especially soccer, American football, baseball and ice hockey. Also, I like to read, bike, run, and discover out of the way places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, but I am particularly partial to classic rock... Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, etc. My preferred books are mystery novels... James Patterson, David Baldacci, Lee Child. Favorite movies are comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended a surprise birthday party for Stevie Wonder!! More importantly, I raised my son and he has turned out great... personable, smart, sensitive to others, good to his grandparents, and outgoing.
