About Me
ABOUT ME
Smart and open-minded, like everybody on this website.
After a wandering-hitchiking-partying-studying-doingnothing time, I settled with three friends in the countryside of Rennes, Brittany, setting up the "Jean Café Brotherhood band", a place where we learned the difficult art of growing vegetables, while working to set up our town, Betton, as the third pole of movie-making.
We also created a football club for long time smokers.
I Hitch-hiked - and walked - a lot around France, enjoying the diversity of my home country and meeting a lot of people from various kind. Cops, gangsters, ermits, bankers and Johnny Halliday's fans. I also sailed the roads of Ireland for some time.
Currently working for a small-scaled farms network in Normandy, and living in one of the last farm situated near Rouen's city center, sharing my time between work, farming, and planning events.
PHILOSOPHY
What the hell is that ? I never heard this "philosophy" word before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hostin' n' surfin', baby !
As a host, I usually don't have time these days to pay visits in Rouen city-center or in Normandy, because of the tons of things to do in a single day. All I can possibly offer to you is a shelter, big banquet with nice people, and the possbility to experiment alternative agriculture (not to mention sometimes interesting discussions).
I however have to warn that our place is not a hostel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Derry, Lyon.
My former shared-house in Brittany has been the harbour of couchsurfers, who usually stayed longer than they thought :)
I also hosted several nice people when I was living in Lyon.
Interests
Being told stories of all sort.
Alternative agriculture, alternative ways of life, movie-making and automedia.
Listening music until dawn.
Reading books until I fall asleep.
Cooking.
Hitchiking, walking in the middle of nowhere, camping.
And good beers.

Music, Movies, and Books
All the movies starring Steven Seagal (you should watch On deadly Ground before smiling) or Christophe(r) Lambert.
Mel Gibson is nice, too.
I'm really keen on watching movies and reading books and listening music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw an ox on his backlegs, eating a tree's leaves while his buddies where quietly chewing grass.
I saw a promised-to-demolition farm saved by the mobilisation of thousands of people.
