Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I love traveling (big surprise lol) and I'm working on practicing my Spanish in other countries. Couchsurfing allows me to actually get to know locals and really learn about the country/city I'm visiting. As opposed to just going down some tourist to-do list, I want meet and connect with people and actually have an authentic experience when I travel, and (since I'm a photographer) to take some great pictures of the people I'm staying with (If you're alright with it of course).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love country music like Tyler Childers and Townes van Zandt as well as Radiohead, The Cure etc. I like reading philosophy, and I love Don DeLillo and George Saunders. Also I'm crazy into film and I've seen a bunch of movies. My favorites are: Dazed and Confused, The Truman Show, On The Waterfront, Before Sunrise, Dune, Uncut Gems, The Social Network, Bridge on the River Kwai, Paris Texas (and more ofc)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Last summer me and my friends built a boat from scratch out of plywood and 55-gallon plastic barrels and we took it 361 miles down the Mississippi river all the way to New Orleans. I'm big into photography and film so of course I had to make a video about it. Here's a link if you're interested:

I'm half decent at cooking a few meals and playing guitar. I love talking/learning about other countries and their politics, and seeing other's perspectives on the world, where it's headed etc. I also love talking about film.

I love photography and my goal in Colombia is to take as many great pictures as I can. A big reason I'm doing couchsurfing is so that I can take portraits of people while I travel, and by staying with a host, I'd be able to get to know you well and take a great portrait. In summary: I'd love to take your picture!
