When I first made this profile in 2010 I wrote of myself:

'Will dance, sing, contemplate, build fires, hike, swim, read, cloud gaze, cook, drink, run, cycle...More experienced at wave surfing. Writer, story teller and art student.'

Not a student anymore, but the rest still hold up I hope, should probably add 'goes to galleries' cos that's about 25% of my life now, and 'Writer, story teller' is a bit strong. I'll settle for 'doodler, talker' these days

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Discovered couch surfing en-route. Lost on a hillside on the Swiss-Italian border a kind dude took me and my friend in and I made this account from his laptop. Four weeks and 2,500km later we had spent a 1/4 of our time under other peoples roofs and I use it to this day.

Reading The War at The End of the World by Mario Vargas Llosa, and recently The Price of Admission, The Midwich Cookoos and Lydia Davis' novel were good. This year I've liked the films The Witch and Victoria.
