Overview
About Me
I am a cadet at the California Maritime Academy. I have completed my seiner cruise earlier this summer. We departed san francisco, transited down the west coast, through the panama canal, spent three days in the Virgin Islands (St Thomas). We then crossed the Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea. There I spent six days in Barcelona Spain, and three days in Naples Italy. One of which was my birthday. I can safely say that that was the best day of my life. I rented a vespa and explored the narrow cobblestone allies, and winding cliffside roads of the Amalfi coast.
Don't let my description fool you, that is the highlight reel description of the most stressful and frustrating period of my life.
I departed the ship in boston and have been slowly making my way to californa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
while attending the academy, i have been unable to take a vacation of any reasonable length: until now. i have a month and a half of freedom before i have to be in california to supervise orientation for the incoming cadets.
i will be spending this time motercycling across country seeing old friends and family.
