Architecture is the first love of my life. Our tutors in 'architecture 101' at university said "all of life and thought is in architecture". It's true and I spend most of my time looking at the world through a lens like that.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Visting Lincoln cathedral when I was 7. I grew up in a county with beautiful countryside but almost devoid of good buildings. It was a revelation.
I saw the first space shuttle lift off from Cape Canaveral with my own eyes when I was 9. I still find space exploration and aviation in general, amazing.
We used to have Kipling's poem 'If' above our toilet downstairs - I try to live by it's creed.
