About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lacking an Agenda

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in travel, and helping others to do so as well. I'm super in to the outdoors, music, literature, coffee and film, among other things. I enjoy meeting people and learning about different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I love my life. I'm incredibly thankful for the position I've been put in as a person who has the privilege of traveling the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the most part, my couch surfing experience has been not through this site but through making connections with locals in areas that I travel to. Rather than actually staying with people I seem to use this site more as a way to get in touch with climbing partners.

Interests

I really have trouble with this. Maybe I'm too much of a generalist. Music, art, film, travel, books, rock climbing, motorcycling- the list goes on. I would like to make more films. I think its my favorite form of art. Recently, I've been fairly obsessed with climbing rocks. Its a wonderful adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

The English language is so strange because it is in part a combination of the Norman language (as in, of Normandy, France) and other Germanic languages. The large amount of Latin words in English come from the Normans who ruled England for several generations. Since the Normans made up the aristocracy, more formal English often has Latin roots.
