ABOUT ME

Hey,

I'm Nic and I'm from Gelsenkirchen, Germany. I just finished university - I studied in Liverpool, London and Moscow.
Gelsenkirchen is in the centre of the Ruhr region and Essen, European Capital City of Culture for 2010, is right next door!

I like sports (jogging, cycling, swimming), travelling and visiting friends around the world, music (I play the guitar), books and movies.

I think that the best things in the world are for free. Travelling gets so much better when you avoid hotels and anonymous places. Also, I met one of my best friends through Couchsurfing.

Seeing 2001: A Space Odyssey at the open air cinema in Friedrichshain in the summer of 2014 with a good friend of mine. Doesn't get any better than that!
