About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish my current study and get travelling again, Maybe Iran, North Korea somewhere interesting
ABOUT ME
In the NZ winter I work for a ski resort in the central north island and during the summer I find work a city or travel the world.
I am not a big fan of parties with loud music and alot of alcohol but don't mind a get together and a few drinks.
Apart from 18 months living in the UK I have always lived in New Zealand and that up until now has usually be Wellington.
I enjoy rail travel and in my spare time I do Volunteer work at Steam Incorporated railway museum (http://www.steaminc.org.nz) in Paekakariki New Zealand.
I believe I am pretty easy to get along with and talk to and I enjoy showing people around places.
I like to try and get new countries added to my list every year (and boarder Stamps) but that comes down to money as New Zealand is so far away from anywhere and flying is not cheap.
PHILOSOPHY
To see the world and expirence new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I have not hosted anyone due to work commitments and flatmates, but I have stayed with CS members which so far has been a great experience and hope to carry on doing so and returning the favor when the time comes.
This summer 2013/2014 I am looking at staying in the Central North Island instead of returning to the Capital so will hopefully be able to host a few people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experience has been fantastic and the different people I have met have helped further my knowledge of the world.
Interests
I have quite a few interests from railways (travelling on them and restoring heritage equipment) to computers.
Skiing and Badminton are my usual sports I enjoy with biking on the side.
One big interest is meeting people of other nationalities as they are the best people to tell you what is going on in their part of the world.
