Overview
About Me
I'm a budding visual artist who recently quit her day job to pursue art full time.
Now I'm traveling, hoping to meet interesting folks and look at some cool stuff too. And maybe dance a little bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new and interesting friends, which perhaps one day I can repay by hosting them!
I am not looking for one-on-one meetups, and please don't message me asking to get drinks or to give me a massage. (I will not respond).
I love meeting groups, and getting to know locals. I usually have a lot of questions about cities, as in their history and why locals like to live where they do, or what their family background is like, and I'd love to get a sense for different cultures as a whole.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge science fiction dork. I'm actually writing a few of my own science fiction graphic novels. (If you ask me about them, get ready for a long excited ramble)
I love all different kinds of music. From Bob Dylan, to Detroit Techno. I've recently been getting into podcasts and would like any recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job, sold my stuff and went across an ocean.
Oh, and I frequently swim in very cold water (Lake Michigan) and people think that's pretty crazy. I swam in Helsinki in October.
I'm sometimes very introverted, so being a solo traveler is actually a success!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about local art scenes and museums, as well as history! But I'm just excited to be here. I love to discuss philosophy, especially Aesthetics ( the study of Beauty), or the really crazy dreams I have.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a decent cook, but I'm a wonderful baker :) Desserts are my specialty. Apple crisp, banana bread, chocolate cake... I could go on!
I myself can share jokes and anecdotes. I'm actually very easy to get along with (Or so I've been told) and I will totally laugh at even the worst dad jokes.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Estonia, Finland, Sweden
