Hey! We're Rachael and McKenzie 👋

We're both from the UK, and have lived together in London for a few years. Rachael works as a commercial manager in the sports industry, McKenzie is an academic researcher.

We love an adventure, whether that's cycle-packing across Scotland, trail running in the mountains, or thru-packing around Mont Blanc. Now we're setting out on our biggest adventure yet, by moving to Toronto, Canada! 🇨🇦

We're looking to meet like-minded people who can show us around and help us get familiar with the Canadian way of life 🤸‍♂️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're moving from the UK to Canada! McKenzie is half Canadian, but hasn't spent more that 2 weeks in Canada, while Rachael has never even visited! We're looking to find people who can show us around, teach us some of the best bits of the Canadian way of life, and all the rest! We've been planning this for years and we're so excited to finally make it happen!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We spent 6 days cycle-packing and camping, from the West coast to the East coast of Scotland. Although it was mid-summer, we had torrential rain for the almost the entire trip. Turns out that even the best waterproof clothing doesn't handle 8+ hours of rain very well! ☔
