About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Speak less, listen more.

ABOUT ME

In a nut shell, I'm a travel addict. I'm not very good at staying in one place for a long time. I love reading and being outside, especially during the warm summer months, and I'll never pass up an opportunity to talk about politics, human rights, environmental sustainability, global access to clean water and medicine. I also love to dance, even though I've got no rhythm. When I grow up, I want to help people and take care of the earth.

PHILOSOPHY

To live an adventurous life, free from lethal routine and deadly monotony.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I volunteered with a travel expo I found through CS, and I'll hopefully find some great hosts for this upcoming summer in Europe!

Music, Movies, and Books

Russian literature, especially Marina Tsvetaeva and Mikhail Bulgakov's Master and Margarita. I adore Walt Whitman and Ernest Hemingway, but I'll pretty much read anything I can get my hands on.
I'll listen to anything, depending on my mood. But I really enjoy early 1990s American rap (N.W.E., 2Pac, Eazy E, Outkast) and John Mayer, The xx, Vance Joy, The 1975, The Lumineers, Kodaline, Childish Gambino, Lorde, Bon Iver, Bastille, and secretly One Direction.
I like most movies, but I'm not a massive fan of gore or horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just became the Director of Travel and Research for a small, culturally immersive travel agency.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talk, but I'm learning that people often know more than I think I do.

I'm always looking for help with my international vocabulary, and I'd love to learn to salsa or merengue or tango.

I want learn about other people's lives and experiences!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a comfortable couch, a big backyard for activities, and lots of hiking/biking/water activities a few minutes away!

Countries I’ve Visited
